Some times when you copy a password out of an email and paste it into the password field on your discussion board login screen an extra character is inadvertently added to the end of the password.
If you find the password is not working for you, it is very likely you are picking up an extra character and pasting it into the password field.
If you first try typing in the password directly before contacting your board organiser. If it still doesn’t work, contact the discussion board organiser and ask them to send a new password.
Once you have logged in, using your secure password, you will be able to change your password to something more memorable. Simply select the Change your password link in the settings area. See more instructions on how to change your password.
I see a message which tells me I have Invalid login details what should I do?
If you see a message like this:
- Please try typing in your username and password exactly as it is in your invitation email.
- If this does not work then please send forward your invitation email to firstname.lastname@example.org and include a brief description of what you are experiencing.
- We will then be able to assist you, or refer you to your discussion organiser.
