Security for GroupQuality is everything and password security and privacy is a priority.
All passwords generated by GroupQuality discussion boards are not shown anywhere other than to the person receiving either an invitation email or password reset email.
All passwords are encrypted in our system, which means that not even GroupQuality can see the passwords.
This is the best way to protect the participant data and their privacy and is required in some global jurisdictions.
This means that when sending the reminder emails, topic notifications, or broadcast emails we can not include the password. We can not resend them the same password each time as we can not see them or access them to resend.
Passwords are only generated at the exact moment in time when either the invitation or the Password reset message is sent to the participants. The receiving participant is the only one who sees what that password is!
We are using a high level of security due to the nature of the information that may be collected and ensure every measure is taken to met the required privacy and security obligations.
Participants have control over changing passwords
To alleviate any issues due to a lost password we highly recommend when you send the invitation, the first thing you do is instruct participants to change the password to something more memorable.
